All of us have heard, raced or just a plain old race fan of the old Big H Speedway in N. Houston (now known as Houston Motorsports Park). Well its our time to give back. The owner and promoter of the former Big H Brad Pounds needs our help. Brad has Stage 3 cancer. There will be a benefit to help the Pounds family pay for his treatment. There will be BBQ plates for $10, live entertainment, 50/50 drawing, an auction, liquor wagon raffle, and much more.
The benefit will be Saturday October 17th, 11am rain or shine at Billy's Hall in Pearland. The address is 4070 Wells Dr. Pearland, Tx. 77584. The directions are coming from Pearland. Go South on Hwy 35/Telephone Rd. Go to the stoplight right after Pearland High School and turn right. Go over bridge and first road on left will be Wells Dr. Turn left and Hall will be on that road. Go to http://www.billyshallrental.com/ for further directions they have a map.
Again this is a benefit for a fellow racer. This benefit is early enough to still make the races so no excuses.
